Welcoming Woolly Whims, Our first fabric Collection

& as fabric designers with Marcus Textiles

Hero print for Woolly Whims fabric Collection: Large flowing folk florals on a dark background. Warm colors: blues, reds, oranges, pinks, and greens.

We’re beyond excited to finally share some big news: Woolly Whims, our very first fabric collection, is here! This collection holds a special place in our hearts because it’s also Alex’s debut as an illustrator in the world of pattern design. It’s been a thrilling, challenging, and absolutely rewarding journey – and we can’t wait to see what you create with it.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with the amazing team at Marcus Fabrics in New York. They’ve been so supportive throughout every step of the process, and we’ve learned so much along the way. Once we nailed down the hero print, everything else started to flow more easily, and we knew we were on track. Our color palette was clear from the start: warm, rich hues with lots of saturated contrast – the kind of colors that pop in any quilt.

Speaking of quilts, we couldn’t resist whipping up a few designs to showcase Woolly Whims, including our personal favorite: the Woolly Whims Block of the Month (but we’ll spill more details on that soon!). The mix of vintage-inspired patterns with whimsical folk florals captures everything we love about this collection, and we hope you’ll feel the same.

We’re over the moon about how this collection turned out and can’t wait to share it with you. Keep an eye out for the list of shops that will carry Woolly Whims – fabric will start shipping in January 2025, so mark your calendars! We’re just smitten with how everything came together, and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do.

Stay tuned for more updates, and happy quilting!
